In 2007 Debbie devised and produced a garden for Centrepoint at the Hampton Court Flower Show.
Working with gold medal-winning designer Claire Whitehouse, they created a garden that demonstrated the ‘perfect’ home for a young person. Alongside the idealised hostel, Claire designed a stunning garden that offered a place for recreation, rest and a hard work work – keeping the vegetable garden tidy. The garden played host to thousands of visitors at the show and won Claire a silver medal.
TV personality and garden designer Chris Collins visited the garden with young people from the charity and encouraged their aspirations to acquire gardening skills with a view to making gardening their chosen career.
