DINNER HOSTED BY HRH PRINCE WILLIAM

Organised by Debbie Rix, this event launched the Centrepoint Bursary scheme – designed to fund education and training for the 800 young people who live with the charity at any one time.   Guests were drawn from a broad spectrum of business, politics and the media, and included several young people who lived with the charity.

Prince William spoke at the event and enjoyed meeting both young people as well as Centrepoint ambassadors Kirsty Young, fashion designer Ben de Lisi and star of ‘The Bill’ Lisa Maxwell, as well as Tamara Beckwith and her husband Georgio Veroni and Sir George and Lady Martin. Jools Holland entertained the audience with gospel singer Ruby Turner.   The guests were also be entertained by well known acrobatic act the English Gents.
